This is a great place to walk and admire the beauty of the gardens and visit the workers who are doing historical crafts. The house tour was okay but pales to touring the outdoors. From a beautiful lake to the gardens, and the grand entrance off the river you are struck by the gorgeous scenery.

How long does it take to go through Middleton Place?

over a year ago. I would plan to spend at least 3 hours in order to do the house tour, walk the beautiful gardens, and visit all the areas to see. If you plan to have lunch in the excellent restaurant (which I highly recommend), then you need to allow another hour. One can happily spend most of a day here!
